2018 Buick Regal GS
Hello all, new here. I've had my GS for about 4 months now. But I'm the type where I like my vehicles louder, anyone know If any companies developing a system for the GS ? If not what are other options one could take ?

I will be watching for that too. We were hoping the "sport tuned exhaust" had a little more of a rumble to it.

Honestly it doesn't sound barely any different then the Lacrosse V6 I tested before my GS came in, I've checked underneath and the car does have 2 resonators, GM really trying to make It quiet lol

I haven't heard a GS in person yet, but based on videos it seems the Commodore VXR got a louder deeper exhaust.

For Sure the Commodore is louder. Even from video I can tell, that would be nice for "sport tuned". I'll have to post a video of a cold start And you can decide.

Looks like they have the same engine, how different can their exhaust be? Maybe we can chop a resonator to get the sound of the VXR?

They're the same car.

They are mostly the same, but there are differences. The VXR was meant to replace the V8 Commodore so they went further with the performance.

Differences include:
Louder exhaust
20" wheels on high performance summer tires
10mm lower and stiffer suspension
Larger spoiler

Doesn't the insignia also have the larger spoiler and bigger wheels? They don't get the V6 though if I'm correct

They are close..not the exact same just some minor differences. At least it is a lot closer than the last one, we got the seats which is nice and aside from the ride height and spoiler we are pretty spot on look wise.

But compared to other cars in the catagory it would be nice to have a throatier exhaust. I looked at a 2018 Stinger GT before settled and even that has a nice sound stock. GM has the know how, the V6 camaro can get dual more exhaust. But hopefully the magnaflow fixes the need for sound lol

I
I mean same as in its same platform. Not talking about the minor differences.

Maybe they buy cars which will give them higher sales, but I think most of their products are developed from people that do their development program. Magnaflow gets the car for free and the owner gets a free exhaust. Win-win for everyone.
