Hey All - new to this forum. New to this car and two mo in, i've got unmitigated infotainment issues around device pairing, general connectivity, carplay etc. Wired or wireless, continual trouble. Current software version is 21.1. Seems like I need a newer version. Saw in another post some directions, but wasn't clear to me, say another user reference post #158 but I can't find it.....I appreciate any help this forum can give!

For anyone looking to get the latest update, here's 22.11 that I pulled directly from SPS and updated my own car with. Install at your own risk. Must be loaded on a USB 2.0 device formatted in FAT32 format. Turn car to accessory mode and plug in USB. You will be prompted to install. It will take about 15min. Instructions say to not open the doors during the update.

i don't know of an update newer than 22.11

Can you post a follow up if this works? Mine is a little buggy and the dealer quoted me 200 just to look at the car. My whole radio shuts off while on a phone call using carplay. Not many other bugs but that one is the most annoying.

I did it on our '18 Essence (white needle), and it worked fine, fixing the CarPlay issues we were having. YMMV, of course…

I downloaded it to a usb and every time I plug it in it says "Download Update Failed" Were you connected to wifi when doing it?

FWIW - My White Needle 2018 TourX - never updated so far. So I just took this on today and was successful after a few tires.

Unsuccessfully using the link upthread - it did work using this MOD file in #366 in the other "greyed out" thread linked above -
"Correct, it needs to be FAT32.
You've said that you are trying to install 21.10 - what FW do you currently have?
have you tried zip from my 1drv?
(22.10/22.11) "

Link should go to the same OneDrive files - use the MOD one. Took abt 20 minutes for me but my usb stick is pretty slow xfer.
(also has to be under 32 gigs to format Fat32) Extract only the files and move them into the usb and follow the rest of the guidance above.

I'm currently running 21.1 and this was to update to 22.11. For the files in your one drive; should I add all the files (22.1 and 22.11) to the thumb drive and then plug it in, or just do the 22.11, or should I do the 22.1 followed by the 22.11 files?

I simply did the contents of the MOD zip file the OG poster/source of those files was in the other thread.

Got the update to work using the file posted from bollox74. Took an extra few minutes and carplay was able to reconnect. I truly appreciate everyones help in here! I saved quite a bit of money and a lot of headaches with that old firmware.
