1982 Riviera Convertible
I found a few companies that can recreate a car's original sticker. I contacted the one that looked the best, and they told me to get a copy of the original dealer invoice from GM. I tried, but they refunded my money because they told me the car was built in August of 1982 and the whole August file was missing. I told them August of 1981 would make more sense for a 1982, and they told me that file is missing too... Any ideas or recommendations of a company that maybe could do it without the dealer invoice? Thanks in advance.

You called GM Heritage and spoke with Kevin???? Site Maintenance
I actually started by an email there, paid the fee (it was refunded), heard from Samantha Guth, then from an Allied Vaugn, and have a long email string advising me that my car was built in August of 1982, and the entire August file of invoices was missing. I questioned him because I was sure a 1982 would have been built in 1981. Apparently, the August 1981 file is completely missing too. Since the car was finished with the installation of a power convertible top at American Sunroof Corporation in Flint, I wondered if they might have anything on it, but didn't yet try contacting them (name change plus probably lots of other changes there). Any ideas for me? I really appreciate just hearing from you on this. I was beginning to wonder with all the views & zero responses until yours. Thanks much! Tom
