1992 Riviera pre-cat exhaust OD?

Per subject, does anyone know what the outer diameter of the header pipe is, right before the cat? Mine is degrading and getting loud. Been patching it with exhaust sealer but would prefer to splice in a short piece of pipe for a real fix. Thanks if you can provide info.

Yeah I'll either clamp in a short piece of pipe or see if an exhaust shop will weld one in. But it's got to be stainless. I can't stand the garbage from places like Midas. Aluminized steel that rusts away in two years.
