Hey everyone,
I am now the proud owner of a 92' Riviera 140K on the clock but she's got some quirks and would really appreciate any help or input any of you have.
First off the air pump for the auto level runs constantly with the key in, I have yet to do any testing but I do see liquid coming from the back shocks so I know those will have to be changed, but my question is how can I cut power to it until I can get some new shocks so I don't damage the pump.
Second, some of the buttons on the climate control don't work, the EXT temp, Bi-Level, and the lower fan speed button, everything else works fine but those.
Third, all of the speakers need to be replaced, they are super rattly and distorted, I got some new ones but I have no idea how to change them at all.
Fourth, the manual recline on the drivers side doesn't work at all, I pull up on the handle and nothing happens.
Fifth, the switches on the back of the seats for people to get into the back seat do not work at all and the seat folds forward by just pushing on it.
Sixth, the headrest on the passenger side doesn't appear to have a working lock, so it can slide in and out of the seat with no locking.
Seventh, I have no warning dinger when I open the door or leave the head lights on.
Eighth, the driver side window is a bit quirky, it doesn't like to move at all but I can get it to move with the car off but in the run position, but this isn't really important since I have A/C.
Ninth (I think this is the last thing that I can think of.) The Ignition switch won't let me go into accessory position with the key.
Long list, I know, but I got her for 500$ and functional A/C and a almost flawless interior, really good.
Thanks for any information that anybody has to give, and yes I will be purchasing a service manual soon.
