There are many, many options if you do any sort of search on these. The ones I currently have in the car are Stabilius Lift-O-Mat (I don't have the model number handy right now) and I think this is the third set.

The OEM ones seemed to last the longest and I seem to recall them being Stabilius units, but it's been so long since those went to lift strut heaven I really can't recall.

Just looking for recommendations on specific makers and model numbers other members have had success with over the years.

As an FYI, I ended up purchasing this set from Amazon (and, contrary to what Amazon's parts matcher says, they work fine on the Roadmaster, as the window lifts on all the station wagons of that era were identical): A-Premium Rear Window Glass Lift Supports Shock Struts Compatible with Chevrolet Caprice 91-96 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Roadmaster 91-92 Wagon 2-PC

I definitely notice that (even accounting for age) these struts are stiffer than the ones from Stabilius were, which I appreciate. They also do a nice job of slowing down the opening speed as the glass reaches what will be its highest point of opening.
