1997 Buick Park Avenue Suddenly

Won't Start? was having no problems with the car. Started as usual, the security lite came on. After driving approx. 3 miles lost all power. Had it towed to my mechanic. It started right up for him and he drove it without any problem. He kept it for 24 hours he had no probelm starting and driving the car every few hours. I took the car home, started it the next day and drove to the market. When I came out it wouldn't start. I waited about 10 minutes and it started. Took it home, turned it off..it would not start. Tried about 15 minutes later started without a problem. I turned it off and tried to start it again....nothing.. The car will start after setting for a time but if I start it and turn it off and try to start again it will not start. I have to wait 15 to 20 minutes and it starts without a problem. Can anyone help?

I'd get it to a shop that employs master ase certified technicians so the problem can be diagnosed.

Sounds like a Security system issue. They should have connected a scan tool and checked every module for DTC's.

I would check the battery and battery cables too.
