Hi,
My name is Brian and I have a 1998 Buick Regal GS and I was looking for new exhaust manifold and full exhaust system for my car to help limit some of the back pressure caused by the current/stock exhaust. I would like to have a larger exhaust diameter of 3 inches if possible. If anyone knows of a place online or a chain store that would sell something of the sort please leave a following post and a link if applicable. Thank you.

Here is the pipe I used on my '01 Regal GS http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com/products/97-03-pontiac-grand-prix-exhaust-tubing-system.html
I went with the aluminized 2.5 inch pipe and it lasted through 6 midwestern winters. I used a dynomax super turbo muffler plus 3" ZZP downpipe and stainless plog to replace the front manifold. Might have been worth a tenth or two in the 1/4 mile but is hard to say since that car was notoriously inconsistent down the track (60' times). You may see a larger improvement since IIRC the factory exhaust on the '98s is supposed to be more restrictive. Also saw a slight uptick in MPG (1 or 2 mpg).

Do it yourself. Amputate the resonator, and put on a flowmaster or muffler of your choice. I like Flowtech Raptors, personally. I plan on doing this very thing to my Regal soon. Every little bit helps.

I also have a 98 GS and have a cracked manifold. The car is no beauty queen but it fires right up every time I start it and doesn't smoke or anything. I plan to drive it into the ground so I'm wondering, should I just replace the manifold or go to a header? My MPG is awful right now, like 17 in town.
