2000 Lesabre Can I run with out thermostat

My top radiator hose is rock hard. I flushed the radiator, changed to the top hose, changed the thermostat. No leaking from manifold. Its over 100 degrees in Southern California. Would removing the thermostat be ok in weather conditions like this? My radiator is now starting to leak from the top hose radiator connection. Im hoping its not a crack on the seams of the hose connection. Maybe its just so much pressure making coolant leak out of the hose. Car runs super smooth. doesnt over heat, no smoke from tail pipes. Any idea or suggestions on what I can do?

Replace the radiator cap, even if its new. It's not bleeding off the excessive pressure. The thermostat has nothing to do with pressure and should remain.

I think my radiator is cracked. I started it up this morning, before the hose could even get pressure, it started leaking right under the hose. I cant really get a good look under the hose, but that is where coolant was coming from. Again, this was after running the car for about 3 minutes.

Might be time to check the coolant for hydrocarbons, blown head gaskets and cracked heads can cause the hose to stiffen up as soon as you start the car. From a cold start if you remove the cap start the engine, if there are bubbles coming up, it's an indication something is wrong.
