I wanted to make a 'for what it's worth' entry.
I had a major intake manifold issue that I repaired last month. That went well and took care of a vacuum problem.
I was surprised when I still had the symptoms where the car would just stumble and die while idling, but only after it was warmed up. Also, it would hesitate or miss during acceleration.
I did not do much testing or troubleshooting, but chose to replace the MAF (mass air flow) sensor and the problem is now gone.
My Service Engine Light was never on, but there was a P0102 (I think that was it) . It may have been a pending code, not yet lighting the engine light.
