Buick Newbie
I'm new to the Buick forums, so here we go.
I haven't been able to find any previous threads about this, but with my 2001 Buick Century Custom, I replaced the infamous quartet of 150k ohm resistors to (attempt to) repair my down-and-out PRND321/Odometer. As I was reinstalling the cluster, there was a 'sparking' and a thin read wire (originating from just to the right of the base of the steering column, lower panel removed) dropped to the floor from near the instrument cluster (just behind the steering wheel from what I could tell). It had separated from its point of contact due to the wire strands being flexed to the point of breakage. The car fires up just fine, but now the instrument cluster as a whole has no power. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as where this wire needs to be soldered/crimped to so I can receive power to the board so I can see if I have fixed the original problem.
Any help is appreciated.
