2001 PA odometer/PRNDL burnt out

New to me 2001 Park Avenue odometer and PRNDL are burnt out. I can't seem to find anything online other than the Century having a resistor that needs resoldered. I didn't see anything wrong with this board other than the 2 burns on the screens themselves. Several posts on here about it but none of them give if or how they fixed them. Putting in a used unit would be much cheaper than having it fixed but I'd like to retain original mileage if possible.

the screens appear ok to the nerds,
I was told:

"Check voltages, VFDs require a low (1.x V) for the filament and a moderate (2x V) for the anodes. If either of those are missing you have no display"
