2002 park avenue crank no start

I was driving my 02 park Avenue and it was running fine. Then out of no where it couldn’t get above 55 and 2k rpms and started overheating. Pulled over and it shut off before I could get to a parking lot. It would restart but need pedal feathering while starting and running to get it going. Got it towed home and parked it. And now it will not restart. No coolant in the oil and vice versa but a small amount of white smoke comes out the exhaust. I’ve replace coil packs but still no start. It will crank and try’s to start but just can’t. It try’s but can’t get all the way started. Talked to a 3.8 guy and he said it might be my intake gaskets and it was loose in the back. I tighten it and still no start. I read this thread and was wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions on what it could be. The cooling system is all basically mud but it had been running fine.

Pull and inspect all spark plugs and clean when necessary. Drain cooling system put new coolant in. Also check codes. Is there still white smoke after you tightened the intake manifold?

I replaced all the spark plugs and coils. I can’t check if there is white smoke cause it only cranks and acts like it’s wants to start but never does. When the key is powering the car like when you prime a fuel pump something in the rear end rattle pretty bad. It looks like it’s some type of metal cover beside the fuel tank but it’s whatever is under the cover is rattling. Also tried new maf and map sensors. Still only cranks

The rattle could be the mounting bracket for the level-ride compressor. Did you check if the fuel pump primes with the key on, with a fuel pressure gauge? My guess is the fuel pump is toast.

Not too mechanically inclined but would that just be screwing a fuel pressure gage on one of the valves at the rails

I would guess that it is a bad head gasket, but it sounds like the timing is off when it cranks.

Both my lower intake gaskets were broken in more than two places. Idk if that is of importance or not. I rechecked the oil and coolant and neither one was mixed with the other

Replace the upper intake with DORMAN 615180 while you have it apart.
Check the compression on all cylinders

Go with Fel-Pro MS98014T for the LIM gaskets and ATP 106001 for the UIM.

Plug those numbers into Amazon and you’re good to go.
