Hello there.
I have a 2003 buick rendezvous CXL and it's been having some lighting issues lately.
2 issues that arose:
1. The internal lights will not go off. The two lights on the rear-view mirror, the lights underneath the driver and passenger feet space, and the two lights by the coat-hangers in the rear seats stay on whether I've put the internal light control settings to Off/Door/On. The only way it will go off is if the ignition is off, and I lock the doors, and then wait for a while, OR I pull out the fuse. I've checked the fuse just in case and it was completely fine, and even when replaced with a spare fuse of the same amp, the problem does not go away. My guess is that the wiring of the controllers are messed up? Any ideas?
2. The dashboard shows a message that says "Park Lamp Out". I've located and checked the bulbs on both front park lamps and they were fine. I am not sure as to exactly what the rear park lamps are. There are 6 lamps on the back of the vehicle, all of them covered by a red lighting cover. 2 of them are on the car body (1 on each side), and 4 of them are on the trunk door (2 on each side). Any instruction as to which ones are the rear park lamp and how to access the bulbs?
Thank you!
