Hello I’m trying to find a procedure on how to change the motor mounts on my Lesabre. I’m young and still learning I would rather do most of the work than to take it to a mechanic. I’ve already changed the front trans mount. I can’t seem to find anything anywhere online about the other 3 mounts. Thank you, bless

Welcome to the group! Concerning the front mount that you have replaced, that is the one that typically gives the most
problems. It has been my experience that little benefit is actually
gained by replacing the other mounts. Of course, situations do vary and there could be other factors. If you know the mount is broken for example. Just trying to help as I have made mistakes in this area in the past. I replaced additional mounts without a cause.

I had the typical symptoms of a mount going out and replacing the front one has solved about 70% of that for me, but I do still get some vibrations while turning left or right and stepping on the gas kinda hard. It’s not a suspension issue since literally everything is new and is identical to the issue I had before replacing, but less noticeable so I feel like it’s gonna be my other mounts that also gotta be changed.

any recommendations for a brand that’s aftermarket? I’m really trying to avoid the oem bullet since I already bought oem for the first one

Do I need to remove the wheels to get to the side mounts

Yeah, I wish someone would make a video on how to change them but they look pretty easy. Just a matter of jacking up car, place stands under the crossbar in frt., Jack up motor to take up slack and to support it, then simply remove some nuts and replace mounts. I think the only tricky one to replace is the rear trans mount. It would be nice if there was a video though.
