I was scanning my 2005 LeSabre Limited late yesterday, messing around with checking and setting things, when I stumbled across the ability to "Activate Actuators", so I did. (Of course I would! Wouldn't you?)

I have this HVAC control panel that works just fine. Plus, I can see it at night now that I've replaced all of the burnt out bulbs with LEDs.

While I was messing about, I noticed that the s.c.a.n.n.e.r had the left and right sides listed, so I turned the temp up and down on each side and it responded!

With that relevation, is it possible to swap from single to dual controls by just plugging in a different HU?

There are differences in the hvac duct setup between the dual zone and regular , I’d think you’d need to change all mechanical components that go to the dual zone and then also have the programmer or whatever updated to know it’s a dual zone

Do you not have a passenger temp switch on the pass door?
And when you say it responded did you hear a door

The passenger door has a temp slider that I thought went to the heated seat. (Both seats do not heat up at present, but that's another topic.)

When I was using my scanner to activate various functions, it was able to get full cold on one side and full hot on the other, CH driver/passenger, and HC d/p.

Limited comes standard with dual zone HVAC.
Really? Neato! I'm gonna check Flea Bay to see what might be available.
