2007 Rendezous has broken pcv hose at the rear engine valve cover

Hi, I'm new and have a problem with my 07 Rendezvous. The PCV breather tube snapped off the rear valve cover when I was replacing the engine air filter. My mechanic is not available to fix this for quite awhile and that's if I can even get a replacement part. What is going to happen if it gets driven with this tube unattached in the back?
Please be gentle, I am driving this because it's all I can afford. I have fixed a lot of things myself by pulling parts in the junkyard, but I think this fix is beyond my stength and ability.

You probably will throw a code and the vacuum leak may cause the engine to stall. Find another mechanic or if feasible duct tape it together.

Mine is completely out and not throwing a code or causing the engine to stall.

In fact, I started another thread because I'm not sure where it attaches to. (No guesses, please)
