This is the second mount to fail.
It is listed as hydraulic on the parts site description..
Is there a non hydraulic mount for this application?
The hydraulic ones do not last very long.
This ride is not abused, but the motor mount failure issue is annoying at best.
thanks in advance for help.

Did you buy the same brand mount both times?
If so, what did you buy?

one was gm original. the other is unknown
I would really like a not-hydraulic option if there is one.

No known soild mounts but have seen posts where they somehow made or found one, the downside is the addtional vibration felt from the engine.

Surprised that the GM had a early failure as it's the default for long term life. The aftermarket ones being sold are hit or miss, mostly miss.

I installed an anchor mount. After an hour of struggling, I found the locatior pin on the top was in the wrong place and would not go into the hole in the engine bracket mount. I cut it off with a wizzer wheel and finished the install.

The upper mount can get damaged while replacing the lower, try replacing both at once and see if they last longer.
One weak mount can damage the others.
