No check engine light but my scanner shows high VOLTAGE, yep voltage. The GM shop manual is useless. It shows a 3500, whatever that may be, and a 4.6. YOUTUBE is no help. Looks like the starter has to be removed which requires removal of the motor mount.
Any thoughts or experience with this problem?

Thank you for the reply yesterday and today.
I,'m hoping the sensor is toward the right side wheel. This picture is different from any others I have seen. I used a camera yesterday to look around the filter area but didn't see it. I'll look again today.
Is the photo for a 3.9 engine? The worthless GM shop manual shows a 3500 engine which is not what I have.

Yes 3.9L, I have the 3.8L so no experience, but some have posted it can be done without removing the starter by removing the filter bracket but I can't confirm.

The 3.8 is a different animal from the 3.9. I found the sensor by using my camera with a wobble end. The sensor is hidden by the starter so there is no way to access the harness connector or put a socket on the sensor. Labor is 4 hours so it will cost me around $400.00 to have the $20.00 part replaced. ENDURANCE (waste of money) doesn't cover THIS sensor.
I'm having a bit of trouble with the Verification screen on this site.

I’ve changed the oil pressure sensor on my 3.9 L from underneath. I take off the heat shield on the exhaust manifold, then take off the front motor mount, then you can reach up in there and get a socket on it.
