Buick Ownership
Buick Regal 2011
Had this 2011 Buick regal 2.0 turbo with originally a spun rod bearing , I had removed engine to replace crankshaft and all connecting rod bearing and main bearing ,also had block machined cause of warpage , I assembled the engine back together and started the vehicle and it would no go into any gear without giving it gas with the petal , car immediately went into “reduced engine power “ followed along with codes P2101 and P2176

Might have to perform a throttle relearn, im not 100% certain but someone else should chime in, a crank relearn might not be a bad idea either.

Who did the engine work for you? If you did it, was the thrust bearing clearanced properly? Proper end shaft play? I personally would do a throttle body relearn on it. I'm not sure on this platform how to do it, but Google it and give it a try

Thank you sir for your response, I did the engine work myself and yes it made sure it was cleaned properly.
