2011 Lacross CXS Displaying "Air Conditioner off Due to High Engine Temp". Immediately upon starting cold engine.

Today when I started my 2011 lacrosse CXS I got a "Air Conditioner off Due to High Engine Temp", warning. Obviously this was false because it had not been run for over 12 hours. I suspect faulty engine temp sensor. Any other ideas?

Did you check the coolant level? Otherwise agree on sensor.
