Regal Base 2012 2.4L Flex
Hey Buick fam,

Just wanted to share a milestone I’m proud of—my 2012 Buick Regal Base (2.4L FlexFuel) just crossed the 323,000 mile mark!

I purchased the car in 2016, and for the past 9 years it’s been my daily commuter—reliable through all seasons and highway-heavy mileage.

Here’s the kicker:
Original engine and transmission
No major mechanical work
Just regular routine maintenance (fluids, filters, brakes, tires, etc.)

I’ve kept up with scheduled oil changes, coolant and transmission flush, and the Regal has rewarded me with incredible reliability and longevity. No warning lights, no engine codes—just keeps cruising.

Drive safe and keep those Buicks alive!
I had fingers crossed in case GM wanted to send over a new Buick LOL

Congrats, that's a lot of miles on a vehicle.
Wonder what the Book Value is on a car with that many miles?
I sure wouldn't even think about a new vehicle, sounds like your
Regal has many more miles to give!

Hey Hey! It’s been a good car for me. I'm going to keep it as the commuter car and not add miles to the new car.

Awesome, hoping my 17 GS has that great a record, she's at 30K so it will be a while if she ever gets that high of great service.
Mine was a fleet car so I’d say about 90% of the 323k miles is highway. I’m getting about 500miles/fill up. Kinda impressed with it. Basic maintenance upkeep. It’s been a great car. 30k in 8 years is not bad at all. Should last a long time!! Cheers to the GS!

I bought my 2015 Regal with 88,686 miles on it.
I've had it for 6 years and it has about 104,500 on it now.
I don't drive much, we normally take my wife's GMC Terrain if we go anywhere.

The PCV system of the 2.4 had some issues, particularly for folks living in cold climates and driving short hops.

Are you in a warm climate with few short trips (rather more longer commutes)?

I live in Georgia and my daily commute has range from 65-150 mile. I have 4-5 drives of 6 hours (1 way). Never had PCV issues, or any major issues honestly. Surprisingly, it's been a good car.
