2012 Buick Verano pcv

I have a 2012 Buick Verano and I have had nothing but issues since buying it.
oil consumption test done
burning oil amongst other things
but currently I am having issues when I am either at a stop sign (its a rough idle)
or when I shut the car off it sputters for a couple of seconds then it shuts off. I have replaced the plugs and also the coils. there was also motor work done to it, but no one can give me an answer as to why its doing it up until recently I removed the throttle body and it was really disgusting and I was told that my issues could be the pcv valve. ( does anyone agree with this)

Do you have a check engine light on?
Not knowing the mileage it may have been normal for the throttle body needing a cleaning.
What does some motor work mean exactly?
Does the person who told you PCV valve know that your car has a PCV system but No valve?

Yes I cleaned the throttle body but the issue still remains. Does anyone know how hard it would be to replace the pcv system or is it even worth it. It has 125,000 miles

Have a look at my thread below that might help. See if you have an oil leak around the PCV cover. If your PCV valve (inside the cover) is dead, oil will leak and slowly make its way to the throttler body.
If that is the case, unfortunately you have to replace the whole PCV cover, which I did. Cost me $350 CAN but from a local mechanic, I imagine the dealer will charge double if not more. This is a very common issue, if your PCV is in fact the issue it probably died LONG time ago.

Oil on top of engine

Hi guys, Hoping someone can tell me what this means. I have oil around the hose that goes into the throttle body. Could it be a leak? Anyone had this issue. No dash warnings. Thanks, Von

High pressure feul pump(misfires,rough idle, oil consumption,running rich,etc) and crankshaft seal ( oil leaks) is what keep ecotecs running both pretty simple to do at home
