I haven't heard anything from GM in months. Does anyone know when it'll come out?

2012 LaCrosses are just starting to hit dealers right now. A few have landed at my local dealers.

I spoke to a Buick rep a few weeks ago at a new car event and they said that it would be out at the end of September. With no limited-slip and a 35k base-price, I'll be waiting for the next model year. Or I'll look into an A5. Haven't quite decided yet.

I checked into Audi's before deciding on the Regal. The A6 Quattro is a beautiful car. The price however relegated my sights down to A4 territory where the Regal proved to be the better choice.

Those Audi guys don't bargain much off the asking prices either. 🙄

We just placed our first order for a GS at our dealership for our inventory two weeks ago. We are told they should hit in "fall" nothing is specific yet, but I am thinking late September at the earliest, but I don't know any better than anyone else. We are Buick's oldest privately owned dealership with 104 years and are in the top 5 of our region so I imagine we should be getting them first. Trust me I'll let you guys know the day they come in and let you know my impressions.

It going to boil down to demand and price. The first few months out, there will be a waiting list but once everyone who really wants one gets them, that's when we find out whether or not the GS is a hit or a miss. For 2011, we only had one one trim level to choose (CXL) and two engine options. 2012 will be different, and there is no telling whether or not the public will go gaga over the much more expensive GS. Case in point, in the early 1980's, many people chose the cheaper Mustang LX with 5.0 engine over the more expensive Mustang GT.
