I just bought these H11 LED headlights for the low beams in my 2013 Verano:
Amazon.ca
Previously I've only used halogens, and after replacing the headlights, I'm very happy with how much brighter the lights are. The only issue is that the OEM dust covers that sealed the lenses no longer fit because of the heatsinks on the LEDs.
Tried looking for aftermarket dust covers with more clearance but no luck for Verano dust covers specifically. What are my options for getting around this? Would other GM cars' dust covers work, or does anyone have a 3D model for dust covers that would fit?
Would really like to be able to use these specific LED headlights as the beam pattern is great and have read that LEDs with passive heatsinks tend to die faster.
Open to any suggestions, thank you in advance!
Also, these LEDs are in projector lenses so they shouldn't completely blind anyone in oncoming lanes lol.
