The update that is referenced here is not for a Lacrosse. Were you looking for a different update?
They're all the same systems. I just figured if someone had the Tis2Web they just miiiiiight accidentally slip where to download the file to the flash drive to update it 🤣

I don't really expect that just having some smiles.
 
Here's the bigger question... If GM isn't going after the people out there selling mods on the software / hardware - what would they possibly do to us persons just doing it ourselves to our own car? RE: Legal issue.
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. FOSS (Free Open Source Software) is intended to be shared. Take the largest OS in the world, Android. It's Open Source and Google embraces it. Not only do OEM's like Samsung and OnePlus use it but independent developers modify it's source code and give it away (on XDA). Google has a dedicated page to download stock firmware for Pixel/Nexus devices. And Linux has been forked and modified into many different flavors. Many more. Check out GitHub.
