2016 Buick Regal Premium II Accident Avoidance Braking is triggered by steep hills

When I am driving though the Ozark Mountains, sometimes the accident avoidance braking is triggered by the ground or a change in the coloration of the pavement. Is there an adjustment that can be made to the sensor/camera?

Do you have adaptive cruise control turned on when this happens?
