I got my car with 30k miles on it less than a year ago, about a month ago my battery died for the first time and myremote stwouldn't work, i couldn't get in the car until I used my buick app to unlock it. I got a jump and it was fine. Took it to pepboys they checked the battery and said it was fine. A couple days later it wouldn't start again but the lights came on and the radio was on so I thought that was weird. Brought it to pepboys again and they said they were getting inconclusive readings from their test and for me to take it to the dealership. I take it to the dealership they ran all the diagnostics test and said everything is great except my battery voltage was reading at 500 and it should be 565 and that its okay but in the future sometime soon I will need a new battery. So it was fine after that for about a week. Since then I have had to be jumped 5 to 6 times and each time the lights and radio worked. Today it happened again and brought it to peboys for the umpteenth time and they did a battery test as I was standing there and it said it was 601 out of 565 so I don't know what to do, anyone else having this same problem and have any solutions?? Please. I don't want to buy a battery if it's good and it's something else.

Has anybody checked your charging system?
Have you confirmed that the battery connections are tight and clean?
The image you posted above was with the engine off?

You definitely need to look beyond the battery and get the entire electrical system checked - alternator, voltage regulator, battery cables, etc. There are other posts on this forum about Verano electrical issues where the OP found out the culprit was something other than the battery.

Yes the engine was off and I'm not sure the dealership said they ran all diagnostic tests.

take it back to the dealer and tell them the problem is still there. By the way the numbers you are referring to are cold cranking amps not voltage. Either the battery has a bad cell or terminal, the charging system isnt keeping the battery charged, a bad battery, ground or starter connection, or you have a parasitic drain from a system that is not completely shutting down after the engine is turned off.

No sure about charging system. The battery connections I don't think are good and the car was off for the battery test

It happened again yesterday and i didn't want to jump it again but today my moms boyfriend went out and started hitting stuff and then it started so I drove it to school and after a few hours i left and on the way home it felt like it was gonna die on me. I need to find a good dealership

Can you be more specific as to what "hitting stuff" means, exactly what?

I'm not sure exactly what but he took a hammer and banged something under the hood by the battery or something he said something about a fuse loose or something loose.

tell that to the dealer when you bring it back in and it might help to point to exactly what he hit
