we have a 2016 Lacrosse and the trans shudders shifting from 2nd to 3rd

There is an additive called Dr. Tranny Lubeguard for transmission shudder. I have had pretty good luck with it on some transmissions. Would have to make sure it is okay to add it to your specific transmission.

Im having this problem w my 96 lesabre right now . Only driving it a year . I like the car and dont want to junk it . Im not dropping $1000 on it either though . Is this Dr Tranny stuff a bad idea ? What can i do to make the symptom better ? It was rare at first , but now has increased in frequency . Im older , im a lady on my own , theres no one to help me with this . Im worried . Please help .

Maybe check and post in the Lesabre forum:

Also include a little more in the details than "a problem" as it's difficult to offer possible solutions.

I have a 2016 LaCrosse also and I was thinking the hesitation was coming from the transmission also but I think I have figured out that it is actually from a small hose on top of the valve cover on the front right/ driver side. If you take off the plastic cover you will see the small hose that attaches the pcv line to the intake manifold. Mine wasn’t even attached, just barely sitting on the end. I thought at first that it may have happened when it was at the shop for a different problem but it was actually split when I tried to push it back on. I glued it up and taped it until I can get a replacement and already I noticed a difference in the hesitation. I am ordering a new one as soon as I can figure out what it’s called and I will keep you updated on how the car drives after replacing that. Hopefully this helps.

The '96 LeSabre (4T60-E) is a different trans & shift points are controlled by the vacuum modulator on the front of the trans. Is the vacuum line in good condition & connected. If not, you may need a new modulator? I wish I was there to help!
