2016 Regal turbo p1101 code issue

I also have the P1101 code and both dealer and mechanic ic stated most likely an O ring on intercooler pipe. But nowhere I look shows an O ring. It shows I have to replace the entire pipe at a cost of $550. Anyone know about this?
Which pipe inlet or outlet?

I dont know much about the charge pipe but when my regal was throwing this code I replaced the MAP sensor right below where the charge pipe connects to the intake manifold on the back side of the engine and cleaned the throttle body, along with changing the air filter. Im not sure what symptoms your having but that seemed to do the trick for me, hope this helps!

Exactly. But both a dealer and a service station keepsaying need to replace an O ring. Ugh. Guess I just have to take it in
Don't see your year but this is listed for 2011 to 2013

Did you have to do a relearn procedure after you cleaned the throttle body, if so what was it please. I need to clean mine and I've looked everywhere for procedure but can't find it.

Over the last 2 or so months i have noticed random misfires every once and a while, along with a loss of power and performance. Finally the engine light came on, spitting out the p1101 code which is a performance intake code. When I looked up the code it had said MAF sensor issue, but when autozone printed out the sheet for me it said probable cause was the turbo intercooler (not sure how accurate autozone is). I have cleaned the MAF sensor (I have a new one coming in the mail from rock auto) and replaced both the intake and the exhaust side VVT solenoids. The new solenoids made a big difference, but the car is still putting itself in limp mode upon start up. Other than replacing the MAF sensor I wanted to inspect the throttle body but im not sure where it is or how to get to it because tutorials and forum posts for this car is scarce. I'm not really sure what else to do? Car is at 105,000 and before anyone tells me just take it in and have the dealership do an inspection rather than throwing money and new parts at it, that option is not financially viable for me because im currently in between jobs. Also worth mentioning that it has brand new coil packs, plugs, and air filter. Thanks in advance
I have the same problem. I believe it is due to a piston ring issue pushing oil through the mass airflow intake. I took the mass airflow sensors pipe off and it was coated with engine oil.
