2017 Buick Verano leather
Ok so i just bought this vehicle in Crystal Red with Beige leather. fully loaded and i have to say im in love with this car. An amazing car. poo poo to the haters.

Although i noticed that the Bose systems sounded off a bit and i traced it to the front drivers door not working. Just that speaker. Weird huh? I checked the balance, checked the fader. all in the center. Just that speaker.

Any help would be appreciated.

Test the speaker with a 9 volt battery. It should make a sound when the battery is connected.

Thanks Mel, for that i'd have to remove the door panel. i was trying to avoid that as last resort.

I tried it with navigation. CD, radio. nothing. Its definitely the speaker or speaker connection. funny how its just that one...

Take the door panel off and fix it. Speakers go bad time to time. In my 2012 Regal, both subs and a front speaker were out.

My 2013 had the same issue.. thought it was a blown speaker.. I cut off the wire harness.. wired it directly to the inputs and the speaker worked fine.

Anybody else have a problem with this? I have a 2017 with the Bose system and the driver front door speaker doesn't work either. Owned the car for about 4 months now. Didn't notice it when I bought it. After driving it a while, certain songs sounded different in the car. Adjusted the audio to find that it was not working. It is under warranty (bought an extended one) and the dealership has replaced the amp, didn't fix the problem. They are looking for a replacement speaker now. Is it something different?

They should be able to test for a signal going to the speaker
