2017 Cascada air Conditioner Question

I’ve recently noticed that the AC fan slows dramatically once my vehicle speed goes over 40mph. I am assuming this is not normal? Anyone else ever had this issue?

Do you have automatic temperature control?
Is the fan speed reduced because coincidentally the interior temperature has dropped?

It does not seem to be related to temperature. The cabin actually gets much warmer. I tested yesterday and it directly related to vehicle speed.
