2017 Envision jump wire to bypass auto stop

Purchased wire harness jumper set up off Amazon , have not installed yet.
Anyone used these before ? Any negative side effects ?
Really find auto stop annoying and unnecessary , just concerned about having effect on other systems in car

It is a mystery to me how these things work, since it somehow interferes with the connection to the hood latch switch. The worst thing that could happen is that your dash will always show the hood as being unlatched. In my case that didn;t happen but the cheapo one I bought didn't eliminate the auto stop/start.
