2017 Envision update

Hello. I am a new member and the new owner of my moms 2017 Envision Premium II after she just passed away.

I am curious how I do a software update when I try to go into that section it says insert usb. Is it difficult to do the updates? It doesn’t pop up and say an update is available, but I know it hasn’t been updated because my mom never did it. What am I doing wrong?

It's a dealer function assuming there is an update available. Car manufacturers do not release updates like Microsoft or Apple, etc.
