Hello! New to Buick Forum and hoping someone can shed some light on my Pandora in a 2018 Encore. When I pair my phone (Bluetooth) and press Pandora Icon, one of two things happens. If I have the Wi-Fi on and connected through 4G LTE, it launches Pandora on the account that was entered when I installed the Pandora App in Intellilink. If the Wi-Fi is not on, then I get a message that states "No Internet Connection Pandora Radio requires a connection to the internet." The Pandora Buick Quick Reference Guide says:
Connect your smartphone to the vehicle’s infotainment system:
• iPhone™ devices via USB:
º Newer models may allow connection via Bluetooth.
• Android™ devices via Bluetooth:
º Note that Android™ phones may not be compatible with all infotainment systems.
Open the Pandora app on your phone.
Select the Pandora icon from your infotainment screen.
Enjoy the ride!
According to this, I should be able to Bluetooth pair my Android phone to Intellilink, open the Pandora App on my phone, press the Pandora icon on the touchscreen, and control my phone's Pandora from the touchscreen. Is this no longer the case? Did they eliminate the Pandora Bluetooth screen control when you have Android Auto? Thanks!
