I have a 2018 Regal. The antifreeze/coolant is leaking from the reservoir. When I opened the hood, the fluid was all over the fuse box and battery. I filled the reservoir back and let it run. Checked again and it leaked some more, but didn't see where it from leaking from?

Any idea where it could be leaking from?

You stated it was leaking from the reservoir, correct? So look for a crack in the reservoir and replace it if you see a crack.

First check this u-shaped plastic tube. It gets brittle over time and starts leaking. In my case, it started spraying all over the hood insulation and engine as the engine warms up.

Later, I then noticed that it started leaking at the hose connection with the coolant reservoir. The rubber hose fits onto a plastic nipple on the reservoir that gets weak over time.

It's probably been seeping coolant for some time so you'll likely see an spot where there's limescale or mineral sediment accumulating in those areas.Screenshot_20260119-212932.webp

No crack in reservoir. It's leaking from where the hose connects into the reservoir, Just spits out all over.

How do you fix that?

Remove the hose and see if the plastic neck is cracked. If it isn't cracked replace the clamp with a worm style clamp.

I went through this recently.

heat generated fracture where the small hose tube goes into the tank.
The "nipple" was brittle and discolored.

Replaced the tank, and used a fuel line hose instead of the factory 90* rubber hose. I did not want to chance having a small piece of plastic floating around the coolant.

I did order the entire hose line, but it was a special order item.
As it turns out few weeks later I had a fine mist leak I could not see, but could smell the coolant. I turned off the car and moved my hand around the hose, and when I touched it, I felt a mist of coolant in the air.

Used a turkey baster to suck out coolant from the reservoir.

Different hose types are designed to handle specific chemical & temp conditions in ways that may not be immediately apparent.
E.g., i've read that fuel lines can turn brittle from exposure to glycol 🤨
