Love my 2023 Envision. Recently I hear a whining noise coming from the dash, possibly the infotainment center or the AC/Heater fan. It only happens in the morning when I first start the car and it eventually goes away when the car starts moving. Started around 25,000 miles. Hard to recreate with the dealer because they are not use to how your car should sound in the morning.

Thank you!

Could be the fan motor. Have you left the vehicle with them overnight?

Yes . They cannot hear it but then again, they are not used to the sounds that my vehicle makes in the morning plus they have more distracting noise in the shop then I do in my garage.

My 2023 envision is doing the same thing. I just had the retro fit of the rear park assist installed and the noise started after installation. It has 21,000 miles. I have not taken to dealer yet.

My 23 makes more noise right after startup for a minute or 2, then it goes away and sounds "normal"
. In my case, a combination of more exhaust and engine noise. It's done it since new, but I never thought it was a problem. As I usually remote start, by the time i get in everything sounds normal.

It is now February of 2024 and the noise is not any louder but I can still hear it after remote start them goes away after I drive for 5 minutes. It did not do it when it was new and now at 39,000 miles it may not be covered under warranty. BTW, earlier when I started this thread I stated it was a 2023, that was a typo because it is a 2022 Envision Avenier.

I have the same issue with my ne 2024 Envision. Started at about 500 miles. Just like you said, it's loud first thing in the morning then fades but never completely goes away.

My 23 Enclave does it too. Only lasts a short time. I'm not concerned. Haven't noticed on wife's 21 Envision, as I hardly ever drive it, and she's never said anything to me about it.

My 2024 Envision has the same buzzing, whining noise coming from the climate control area. Started at about 400 miles. It's at the dealer now and they said they replaced the inside air quality sensor. I'll be picking it up today so I hope this resolved the problem. I'm a little skeptical because they left a message to 'give them a call and let them know when I would be there'. Never had a service dept ask me to call first.

I am experiencing the very same sound from my 2024 Envision ST, which I purchased 5 days ago. A whining noise coming from the dash. I am not sure what it is but I do not consider it normal

2021 Envision Preferred model. On start up notice a slight whirring sound that fades in few minutes. is starting to get louder. I tend to seek trouble shooting on forums like this so I am not shocked at the dealerships extreme charges for simply change of plugging in a sensor

My wife had this same noise...now she is having issues with air quality being hazardous. I'm thinking the to issues are related somehow. Maybe....I changed the cabin filter and engine filter already. While it's not at 500 like she said it has been it ranges from 350-450. I'm think that noise is a motor of some sort failing. We don't hear it anymore as well.

Did this rectify the problem mine started at 400 miles

Dealer is changing my air quality sensor now at less than 1000 miles. I think they have a fan motor that fails. IDK

Could someone please share whether changing the air quality sensor, which supposedly is the cause of the annoying sound from the dash, is just a minor fix or one that requires the dash to be entirely removed to access that sensor. Thanks
