92 Dynaride Suspension Help

So, im curious to why my car sits kinda low in the front, and really cushy/ soft, but the back is alittle higher but really stiff compared to the front? I dont know if i have the air suspension or not? Was that an option for 92 Limited? I know it says "Dynaride"
 
dynaride is just a name buick came up with for their suspension system. it has nothing to do with air suspension. to tell if you have it, look under the hood mid left side. if there is a compressor unit there, then you have it. if not then I would be looking at replacing the front struts and seeing if you have sagging coil springs.
 
Check RPO spids label on trunk lid for C67 to see if you have air leveling. Or go to comp nine with your VIN and check all your options.

The front springs on the Heavy Duty Suspension was too soft. Then the Dynaride(standard) suspension... the front springs were even softer. The FE1 dynaride springs are known for sagging very badly in the front, and decently in the rear.

To put it in perspective, Impala SS guys that want a car to handle and near stock ride height, only replace the front springs. The rears are already a good compromise on stiffness / ride comfort. The fronts... floaty as hell, even on the "stiff" suspensions. FYI, the Impala SS spring rates were the same as the Police cars / Heavy Duty springs in the towing package.

im getting shocks put on my 94 rms tomorrow can i just put them on the front or should i do all four?
 
You can do just front, or rears if thats how you want to. Replacing them in pairs helps keep side to side the same. Front to rear is not as critical.
 
Would a 1994 be simalar? My wagon has air bags on rear shocks and I'm afraid to price them? Front in dynaride are just shocks I think havent looked yet. Would a better shock like a Koni help with the to soft front? I know it won't raise it and I'm fine where it's at. Just want new shocks front. Rear like I said are air bag. When I have a couple hunder pounds in there it kicks on every ten minutes in garage so I have a leak... has anyone just removed air bag shocks and pump?
 
While on this topic, just what is the actual height the rear of the wagon should ride at? I have tried to go by the straight line of the rear wheel wells and keep the that line about the top of the rims. Anyoune now what the mid-range height should be?

I kinda wish I only did the fronts but the rears needed it also. I got the sensa-tracs on all four and i can tell the diff in the ride quality even taking turns is different I guess i got so used to the bouncy ride now its only a one bounce ride lol. cost me $300 and monroe is having a rebate deal going on check it out folks
