I have searched everywhere on the web and on this forum and I can't seem to find out if it is possible to turn off the automatic locking of the doors when you put the car in gear. We have a taxi service and it is inconvenient for our drivers and customers. Thank You to anyone who can answer this question.

Has no one had any experience with this? I would at least like to know if it is even possible. If I knew what wire color the neutral safety switch wire going in to the pwr lock module was, I could probably figure out a way to fool the module, if nothing else?

Re: 93' skylark auto door locks-SOLVED

Well, apparently there is no procedure to turn Autolocks off, however I did come up with a workaround.
1. remove dimmer switch panel.
2. look inside to the right, and you will see a large connector at the end of the Multi Function Alarm Module.
3. The 1st wire from the left,on the connector, is Lt. Blue. It goes to pin "P" of the module.
4. Clip this wire and it will disable the Autolocks. Reconnect to restore Autolock function.
