Every now and then it wont start fuel pump can be heard primiming, engine will crank over all electical stuff works , but has no spark....have wigled wires around coils and computer and at the crank sensor. and will start and run great for a while. Just when I thought I had it figured out was coming home from dinner with my sweetie she died at the stop light. called AAA for a tow home they droped in drive way. Just for the hell of it tried to start her and she fired right up..

Its probably a crank sensor or ignition module, thats a classic symptom for those parts. They will heat up and not work then work when cold. Youll need to verify though.

So far I have tried 2 diff ign modules. the last time she died I found the power wire to the fuse box on the right finder loss. wiggled it and car started. Cleaned and checked all fuses in that box. Ran great for a week, then die on the gf. would not start let sit for 30 min and fired right up. does run a little ruff thou. I dont know what else to check. Open to any ideas. How do you check crank sensor??????? JD

Well went and got me a crank sensor and put her in. The old gal seems to be runnin a lot smooooooooother now, according to the gf.........JD
