I have a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Limted Sedan with the Lt1. I have a few things to fix, but I need some information on how to fix it. First is a squeak squeak from the pulley area, I've noticed that a pulley seems to have a slight wiggle when running. This pulley has the flat side of the belt around it, its mounted under the alternator, possibly power steering? Second is the drivers side mirror, the glass is all cracked up and top assembly is lopsided. How do I go on removing it? Third is the trunk pull down motor, where is it and what are common causes for it to fail? Thank you for your time and knowledge.

If the idler pulley is wiggling, you have a bad bearing and need to replace the pulley. You should also replace the belt! The mirror mounting bolts are in the inner shell of the door frame. You will have to remove the inner door panel to find them. The trunk lid motor is located below the pull-down latch. Some rear trunk lining material will have to be removed to expose the motor.

Do you have electrical fans, or the belt driven fan? Usually, the flat side of the belt runs around an idler and the grooved/drive side runs around the driven components such as the A/C compressor, WP & PS pump. Can you post a pic of what you are talking about?
