The level sensors looks like it has broken off. It is held in its place by friction only. I am leaving the rad cap off s it doesn't blow the sensor back out. The square part and the probe come out of the rad.
Do I have to replace the rad now?

The sensor has two plastic tabs holding it in place. Is that what is broken off of the sensor?

It looks like the sensor has a plastic probe end that goes into the radiator. It also has two o-rings that keep the coolant in the radiator and two clips that secures it. I would have to say that if the metal fitting that the sensor fits into is not bent, broken, or cracked which would cause the radiator to leak from it then the radiator is probably okay.

Is the existing sensor broken? If not did it just come unclipped from the radiator fitting?

If the sensor is broken then you can get one using P/N 25608922 - check that number before you order but I'm fairly sure that's the right number.

Here's a pic of the sensor -

If you think of it when you put the new one in - take a pic and post it here and let us know how easy/hard the repair was.

Good luck.
