I have a 99 buick park ave. The car has recently started acting crazy after i put gas in it for about 20min. It took me a while to figure out this issues is ONLY happens after i put gas in the car. Basically, the car will act like its running out of gas and barely idol and sometimes die out for about 20min after i put gas in it. When i give it gas while this is happening the idol erratically jumps from like 1000-2500 rpms and back down again. I have had mechanics look at it, they have replace the fuel pump, catalytic converter, and rule regulate. The shop has basically given up, after putting in 900.00 and still no fix. Still same thing? As far as codes, the car shows a general misfire code.
