Hey all, got a 98 riviera here. My brake lines are pretty rusted and the driver side (left) rear line has sprung a leak.

So underneath the airfilter box there is an ABS module or distribution block or whatever you call it, where all 4 brake lines screw in. I can find a diagram detailing which wheel’s brake line screws into which port, on the abs module/valve, for a 98 Buick Century, but cannot find one that gives me that information for a 98 riviera OR if it is the same.

Also…can someone tell me what the thread size/pitch etc is for the lines that screw in right there?

Thanks everyone.

You really don't need any of that information to fix the car. The new nickle-copper line is very easy to work with. All you need is a quality flaring tool, and a set of metric line wrenches. You can reuse your fittings and replace one line at a time. Time consuming, yes, but doable if you are able to work on your car. Amazon sells the brake line, and assorted fittings. That is what I did when I owned my 98 Riviera.
