Hello Everyone.
Replaced my N* a few months ago and the catalytic converter had to be replaced also. The engine came out of a DTS. Is there a way to find out if I was lied to about the mileage of the DTS? I was told it had approximately 58k on it but that most of the rest of the car had been parted out...
Anyway. My question is this: I just replaced the catalytic converter and of course the DTCs were cleared. I have an Innova 3100i scan tool so I can scan the car. I've driven the car at least 300 miles and the computers still have not reset fully. The AIR, HTR, and EVA icons are still blinking... I read a post from a Google search where a guy with a BMW said there was a reset process where he had to drive his car for so many miles at 60mph non-stop. Is there like a similar process for the N*?

Thanks in advance for your replies!

this is a link to the GM drive cycle

He asked for a reset, not a drive cycle, which is for diagnostics. Each step tests certain functions. The only way to do an actual reset is disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes until the capacitors discharge, and systems will reset to stored factory defaults. Then do the drive cycle test if so desired however normal driving will throw a code/light if there are issues.

I actually didn't know the difference between a reset and and a drive cycle. I ran across the term "drive cycle" for the first time while researching this issue. After doing the drive cycle the blinking icons went green and I was able to get everything squared away. Now, because the "Service Suspension System" message is still coming on after replacing the back shocks I'm considering clearing the DTCs since I didn't clear them after replacing them. I left it alone so I could get the state inspection out of the way. I replaced the shocks with DTS shocks... Thanks MelsRegal and PolarZak.
