So for anyone out there who is still interested in replacing their base radio (UYE radio only) in the 2010-2013 lacrosse, I figured out how to do it. There are not a lot of options out there that will fit the lacrosse but something such as the ILX-207 which is a 7 inch screen in a single DIN housing or one of Pioneer's DMH series (pioneer dmh at Crutchfield) is what we are looking at that will work unless Metra decides to finally release a dash kit. I chose to do it with an ILX-207 and I got it in today. I need to go back and clean up the wiring and add the backup camera (tested last night, worked fine) but that's for a sunny day. The Idatalink Maestro RR with a HRN-RR-GM2 interface harness, programmed to a Chevy Cruze is how I got Everything to work. Also, you will need to cut the sub dash plastic to fit the a single DIN up top. Not sure about the thin Pioneer DMH units. I also have my suspicions about using the Idatalink Maestro CAM1 harness, and that it will allow for control on the AC system, but it wasn't worth the extra $200 to try with everything else working.
You will need to order the following:
Radio of your choosing (must be a single DIN with touch screen(such as Alpine ILX-207) or Pioneer DMH-C2550NEX or similar Pioneer unit
GM PN: 09003997. This is an 8 inch touch screen surround for the 2012-2013 models. PN may vary by color, but I'm not sure.
HRN-RR-GM2 Idatalink harness
Idatalink Maestro RR
Oscillating cutting tool
Torx T-10 and Phillips #1, #2 screw drivers
Socket set with 7mm socket
Metra 40-EU55 antenna adapter
Metra 99-3011s (used to bolt in to the sub dash)
