Is there a way to aim the headlights?

At a distance of 8 ft how far off the ground should the cut off be for the L and R sides?

Are you talking about the halogen or LED headlights? Halogens should have adjuster screws for the up and down. Most cars don't have side to side aim anymore.

The LED headlights are self leveling using sensors on the control arms and the computer. I don't believe these should be aimed.

The Essence LEDs.

Can you measure the cut off point height from the ground at 5ft or 8ft distance?

Would it be possible for a few of you to measure the cut off height for L and R sides on LED lights from 5 and 8 feet?

Thank you!

Stop replying with the wrong answer, LED's can be aimed with the setscrew on top, also has horizontal adjustment. The control arm sensors are for detecting vehicle tilt.

That post was made 4 years ago. I suppose that if they were familiar with HID headlights on vehicles with auto-leveling, then his post was kinda understandable. Once set, they should not need vertical adjustment again.

The single control arm sensor detects whether the rear is too high or too low and adjusts the air pressure. It's more for ride comfort, but also helps keep the headlights from distracting oncoming drivers.
