I'm a new owner of a Cascada. The factory installed navigation system seems bulky to me, I'd like to continue with Android Auto and realize that is not an option that I've been able to figure out. When I use Google maps on my smart phone I don't get turn by turn direction with 'voice'? looking for an alternative that will be closer to Android Auto. I'm not a tech savvy young man so want something else. Will a TomTom or Garmin GPS work? Thank you!!!

Android does have turn by turn voice navigation. It has to be activated.
You can also purchase a holder so the phone will sit on your dashboard.

I have tried Google Maps, but when I connect with the USB cord, my Cascada seems to alter the process and the app does not work. I'm thinking it's because the Buick Cascada is not compatible with Android Auto? I may have to make friends with the factory navigation on the Cascada. I just don't like change I guess. Thanks so much for your interest, I'll give Google Maps another try.

Does your car even have Android Auto? I would uninstall the AA app from your phone. Try it with Bluetooth, not USB cord.
Thanks again for your input. I used the Google maps on phone and left the radio off and the only problem I had is I was unable to get turn by turn directions. I've updated Google maps and hopefully I'll work out how to get the turn directions etc. I want. Thanks again, I think this will be easier for me to use than the Buick Nav system.

Finally the light bulb came on. The phone w/Google maps connected to the Cascada Infotainment by the Blue Tooth option did work along with turn by turn instructions. This getting old ain't easy with technology I'll tell you that. Thanks for the help!
