Hey guys, I have a flashing temperature on the auto climate control head unit. It goes away after about 1 minute of operation. Here’s a vid:
All vent modes work fine (I replaced the vacuum lines behind the glove box like this guy did
)
I did notice the passenger temp control on the door panel does nothing to change temperature. Temp is the same between driver and passenger side. I have the factory service manual for this year of car, but it says only a Tech 1 scan tool (yes tech 1, not 2, even though this is an OBDII car) can tell me the error. I can post the page of possible codes if helpful.
Anyone have experience with this error, or using a Tech 1 on a ‘96 to diagnose HVAC issues? This is one of those years they used an HVAC programmer behind the glovebox to control the auto climate control. Thanks.
