Black Interlink screen

I came out of my job to go home, cranked up the car to a black screen and no backup camera. It continued to stay black until later on that night. The next afternoon, same thing. Went to the dealership when I got the oil changed, they checked it said that the tech couldn't find a problem other than a corroded negative post on my battery. They changed it and it was good that evening. Next morning, black again. Somebody help!

Your 2015 LaCrosse should still be under warranty.

When something is broken and is under warranty, it's immoral for a dealer not to make things right.

Keep a log of when the infotainment goes down. But the next time it's down and you have time, I would drive to the dealer to show them.

If your dealership gives you the runaround, I suggest finding a different GM dealer. You don't have to use the dealer where you bought the car for warranty work.

Also if your dealer doesn't help you and you are forced to go to this other GM dealer, I strongly suggest writing a email or letter to GM corporate, for they will not be happy with that dealer.

My 2016's screen, on very rare occasion goes dark - perhaps for a minute or 2 - and then turns back on without me having to do anything. Haven't bothered to complain to the dealer yet - but if it starts happening more frequently, I will ask the dealer to address it - still have lots of time under warranty.

I have a 2015 and mines just went black I can still see the bac up camera tho and when I crank up the screen comes on as if it’s going to work and then it turns black. What should I do?

I'm going to take mine to the dealership this week and see what they find. I'll let you guys know what happened.. Wish me luck...
